GAZ jeeps
« on: July 05, 2016, 07:00:11 pm »
Hi guys, Having built up a reasonable Soviet army in 28mm, I have been looking for a command Jeep for them. So far no sign of any GAZ Jeeps in 28mm. Looks like a whole inthe market here lads.
Can you look into a production run for this Whole inthe market. Coulds be a big winner as not only were they used in WW11 but after as well.

Regards

I have a resin model in my build queue.

A plastic kit would be useful, especially for some 7TV spy action.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the Resin model from? i could do with them soonish.

I ordered it from Warlord - their GAZ 67B field car. It still appears on their site.

I question whether Rubicon would be able to justify a GAZ kit at this stage.  It's a relatively minor vehicle, and there is a long list of more useful (and more popular) softskins that arguably should have priority.  Also, their Jeep kit will be out soon, and the Soviets used Jeeps as well, so that gap will effectively be filled.

Pinky,

Yes you are right about wide useage of the Willys G.P. or the Ford G.P.W.  And at present if Rubicon are putting this idea on the back burner then thats fine with me for the momment. Just hope both the GAZ jeeps make it one day onto the list.
