Work In Progress / Re: Digital Sculpts - Generic Horse Template 181116

I don't claim to be an expert on horses, but it doesn't look quite right to me. You guys are so good at the vehicles I wish you would keep your focus on them.

What, no Tauchpanzer. I'll have to build a bridge!

Yes, jumping on your models after a few bad dice rolls is not recommended! Although a spare barrel would be a bonus.

I agree the Panzer III project looks very impressive. Although the Panzer IV project is pretty good it's not quite as comprehensive as this one. At least not yet. Rubicon keep getting better and better.

Pete, the T-28 is not far away (beg pardon - read & typed T-28 while thinking T-26. I like the T-28 too) and a comprehensive list of Panzer III's are in the design stage. I agree with everything else in your list. I'd like to see both the 6-rad and 8-rad versions of the armoured cars.

Although an eight wheeled version would have been fun, nothing to complain about here.

Excellent information as always EWG. I completely agree with your comments on the LVT-1.

I like it.

Accept your point UVS. There might be another way to provide the flexibility of a loaded, partially loaded, or empty weapon. Perhaps just the rear end of the rocket that plugs in a socket at the back of the tube. In any event the figure closest to the weapon is obviously not going to be any use for a fully loaded weapon.

25
As an alternative to the loaded and unloaded weapon I have a suggestion. If the weapon came as unloaded but with enough individual rockets the modeller could choose whether, or how many, to insert in the back of the tubes.

26
Very interesting photo. Should get Rubicon thinking again about the loaded version.

Big thumbs up. Although phased out of production relatively early I would be amazed if it couldn't be found in service late in the war and therefore not only for early war gamers. No objection to an Sd.Kfz 10 either.

General Discussions / Re: Zimmerit or not Zimmerit?
« on: August 30, 2018, 06:45:28 pm »
Would someone like to make the case for molded Zimmerit? The argument it's easier to add than remove seems pretty strong, unless you plan to provide both versions in the kit, which isn't likely.

Very promising. Looking forward to these.

Some nice ideas being expressed here. I've suggested the BT-7 myself. Anything serving with the early war British Army including light tanks and cruisers would be nice. If looking at German vehicles I always want them to be in service in September 1939. For example Pz 35 (t) and Panzer I as well as Panzer II & Pz 38 (t).
