Interesting development.

Will you have examples at Salute?

Nice job.

The contrast between the original plastic and the new plastic is notable.

I look forward to seeing it painted.

Useful to know, thanks.

Look forward to seeing them.

The Shermans are on my Salute shopping list.

I think I took that photograph and another one of the cans.

Though there is not a lot of big hardware there (not like Duxford or Bovington) there was a lot and I just did not photograph it (the IWM is where the three Jerry cans photograph came from).

At Bovington I did not photograph the KV-1...

It turns out I have only one photograph of the example at the IWM, and that is not particularly informative.

The bibliography in Osprey's Warrior 148: Long Range Desert Patrolman is also a good start.

Are you going to do British crew?

Not sure yet, what army unit will man the LVTs?
Probably 79th Armoured Division.

I wonder if they also want to get some out there before investing in plastic moulds.

White Dragon models https://whitedragonminiatures.co.uk and Anvil Industries https://anvilindustry.co.uk both do their figures in resin (and will be at Salute).

That’d be great!
Let us find them some references...

We are not going to release any vehicles this Q1/18, but focus solely on figures - pewter and plastic miniatures!

What's happened to the 222!?  :'( :'( :'(
It looks like it is still in quality control http://forum.rubiconmodels.com/index.php?topic=211.0

The first quarter is always a bit of a nightmare with Chinese New Year looming large (it is very important and occupies quite a period of time - not just the day itself).

That will give me a chance to catch up on the previous releases...

An iconic vehicle for the LRDG, with various weapon loads.

Now I wonder if I have a photograph of the IWM example.

Inspired by Captain Blood's  CMP.

They are very nice.

I used Rubicon numbers on my Warlord resin and Zvezda Panzer 38 (t):
http://forum.rubiconmodels.com/index.php?topic=281.msg7135#msg7135

Both of the 38(t) based kits are full of character, moreso than the KV-1 and the IS-2.
