Is 284015 Soviet tank riders or Soviet tank crew? The illustration is of crew and 284005 shows metal tank riders.

One of those Citroens turned up in a Belgian television series available on iPlayer. Must remember to get one.

Completely off topic, but...

Hasslefree Danica figure.

Kev White is probably my favourite figure sculptor.

Just got there news letter and they show a M4 Sherman Crocodile . No idea if its resin or plastic . I would have thought they'ld have gone  with a Churchill Croc  ...oh according to Chamberlain & Ellis ( Brit & US Tanks WW2 ) only 4 made  ::)

I saw that, quite.

The problem is that the production Crocodile uses the Big Churchill (mark VII) hull not the one they have.

So you think it is the base M4 Sherman? The rig looks like an Adder, but that was self contained, no trailer (and I think, based on Sherman V hulls, though there might have been a Sherman III).

I recently read the Osprey New Vanguard on the Crocodile.

I have just noticed the turret hatches are open, would you want that when flaming?

It’s disapointing you didn’t correct the errors in the sculpt for the British figure.
Such little details that would have made a well modelled figure great.
What particular errors?

On the British one, the shape of the flap of the "map" pocket does not seem to match any of my (limited) reference material (Osprey Men at Arms 354 or the IWM photographs b9005_9006). They show a Vee shaped flap with a button (covered on earlier kit), the sculpt shows a plain flap with no button (time traveller with access to velcro?).

The flap was updated with a v-shape flap and a button.  Will post the revised version after all the amendments are done!

What is the cup hanging from?

The cup is hanging with a canvas strap on the side of the racksack.

Must be Brit slang , never heard of it here in Canada .
It is the automatic fire sound effect kids make.

Oh  that's  the 40 K forum . Never got bitten by the space fantasy bug , find it hard to paint tanks red or blue  and cover them in skulls  :o
It is the removing the skulls that is the challenge (and not in a vegetarian way - sorry British brand of  synthi-meat originally manufactured by ICI that sounds like a Great Womble trademark ^__^).

As a forum it gives me a migraine, content and colours.

Nice.

One piece hull! Excellent.

I hope producing models of real tanks hasn't become boring!
We just have to make sure we keep them entertained.

Thanks, the story is of a catastrophic fire as a result of the hit rather than an explosion (it is for a turret swap of tank 21 so the damage has to be limited to the turret).

The plan is to have burn damage round the right firing port and the big hatch (hiding the lack of detail in the turret).

I still need to get the breech assembly undercoated before I  start the assembly.

Traditionally it only appeared before noon (local time), unless you were a television programme etc that was shown after noon.

I remember Richard Dimbleby talking about it.
