Did you make slits for the bends on those etches?
Otherwise they will be really difficult to bend in the right place.

Sven who also builds model railways in etched brass.

if you look at the solid bars on the turret armour, you can see half etched lines which I guess are the bend points.

Traditionally on model railway etches, the etched  bend is on the inside (I will check that).

Have you thought about adding a tool or turret bustle box or mounting brackets to the etch, there is quite a bit of empty space?

Looks good.

Certainly for WW2.

Old Crow used photo etched parts for the turret basket and splinter shields for their 25/28mm Hammers Slammers Panzer and Blower models (bodies in resin, other bits in white metal).

Ground Zero Games had etched brass parts on the 25mm Knight Sabres figures (white metal).

Is it me, but the models shown on the subject box have a distinct 139 look to them?

And, yes that is what Ripley said.

The PSC kit offered both the 139 and the 138 Ausf H.

I suspect that the design of the 138 came first but that required reworking of the tank body/chassis and the availability of PAK40.

The 139 was probably put together as the 138 was taking too much time and they had a plentiful supply of tanks and Soviet guns.

I will have a look at my Panzer 38 (t) book to see what that says.

Its the 1st version - SdKfz 139 with the small gun shield and 76.2 Russian gun

So Panzer 38 (t) with a gun bolted on the top rather than a Panzer 38 (t) that has been cut up a bit.

As their website is still in bits after a "security threat" was detected (their articles section only goes up to August ), what version of the Marder III is it? SDKFZ 139 or SDKFZ 138 H?

PSC have removed their instructions from their site so comparison is difficult.

[Edit] just seen a bit about their website on a newsletter published on another site

Is that an air ID panel between the exhausts on the ammo hoarder?

Thanks.

I was going to use the "spare" from the AT gun set.

Good point on the pedestal, a set of spare wheels from the stowage set might work as stowed wheels from the original towed version.
