That is amazing.

I keep looking at the spare turret parts from the T34/76, but have not started on it.

Though I can understand the impulse, I will finish my remaining three Sherman Vs - by which time Rubicon will have issued theirs (admittedly one is Hercules - which is waiting for another German stowage set).

I have one original Rubicon M4A3 for an E4 film star.

Excellent. You are going to spoil Ripley's fun though, no hatches to open out ^__^.

Of course, there is always the detail inside the turret.

Will we get crew to hang out of the open hatches?

Thanks.

Yes they do look more like US helmets. The loader should be easy, the other one less so.

Edited the post, yes they are the PSC Soviets.

I think the loader needs a head transplant.

PSC Soviets.

Work in progress Ensign.

The Firelock Storming Party has one body and two arms - I managed to get two identical arms in the photograph. They will look slightly different when they get their hats (from the line infantry sprues).

Do Not Try This At Home!

Failure to orientate the spray can nozzle correctly.

Luckily my reflexes are better than my ability to operate a spray can, washing Humbrol spray paint from my face was easier than getting it off my contact lenses (or my eyes).

Some usage history here:http://the.shadock.free.fr/sherman_minutia/manufacturer/m4a2largehatches/m4a2_largehatches.html

After the middle of 1944, USMC received petrol engines M4A3(75)W due to 75mm being generally considered obsolete and only the M4A3 continuing to be produced in 75mm for US consumption.

[Edit - as Pinky says - quicker than me ^__^] 75mm only.

Probably the final decal sheet for the small hatch M4A2.

Note to Our Gracious Hosts: please can we have the decal sheets posted in the respective threads in the Assembly Instructions sub forum

Short answer yes, USMC used M4A2 (only US combat use).

75mm by preference.

Checking.

I know very little about Soviet numbering etc (reading various Osprey books makes me think this is true for even the knowledgeable).

One thing I wonder about is how to number multiple vehicles in a similar manner. Maybe a sheet of "Cyrillic" style numbers?

Would it have been easier to just cut off the sword hand or is the sword going from a right hand ( Officer arm ) to left hand ( Drummer arm ) ?
It is a sword on its own, and unfortunately there are no left hand swords.

For the other ensign I will be scratch building a left hand from the fife and using a sheathed sword.
