So with upscaled it’s not a literal male the frame bigger. They’ll use the CAD files. Add some details. Change the layout of he frame and usuallybtye parts that require flying together.

It is however not designed as a 1:56 kit though, and that will cause it to differ slightly.

Tracks, it is very rare for a model company to go back and fix something that they or their customers weren’t happy about.

Rubicon have proved multiple times (Sherman, T34, panzer 4, panzer 3, panther) that they’re willing to go back and either start again (Sherman, panzer 4)  or just change small bits of the frame (t34, panther).

I applaud their efforts in this and their openness on kit development and although I also would like to see more kits, I also understand their need to go back and revisit things with new techniques.

Not unusual for warlord’s models or box art/description to be wrong. Their m4 Sherman doesn’t have an m4 Sherman on the front too.

I’m able to order them from the UK distributor now (I’ll be placing my order at the weekend).

I have seen photographs of tanks wandering around the Normandy countryside with the bottom half of the rear trunk still in place (I will need to check what it was).

IIRC Some had explosive bolts and were designed to jettison the top half after landing or the crews just removed the easier part.

I’ll go back to my point. Revel QC is awful.

Some batches are ok(ish) and will just about work(ish). However most and older ones just won’t.

If you go back to your first kits and wiggle bits, the chances are they’ll come apart.

If you go back to your old kits and give the bits a wiggle, pretty sure most bits will fall off.

I had the same issue.

Revell quality is hit and miss. Sometimes it works on ABS and sometimes it doesn’t.

Plastic magic works wonders.

I sense a USMC army on my horizon.

That looks so good.

Are the bases available via local stockists like decals?

Yes, they are.

Oh good. I’m glad I held off on basing the Rubicon US mortar team.
