Wish Lists / Re: early StuG
« on: April 07, 2017, 04:27:29 am »
Thanks for the discussion on the early StuG. We have several volume of reference material on the subject. However, without starting the Panzer III digital library project, doing any StuG is empty talk.

Our priority now is to get the Panzer IV project completed before our "imaginary" deadline, then wrapping up some open-ended projects before we look into starting the Panzer III one!  The Panzer III project is more complicated than her Panzer IV counterpart, and will need more time to sort out the drawings before actual 3D drafting can started.  Therefore we definitely don't foresee any StuG coming this year!

The early StuG can be classified into 3 main groups - Ausf A&B / C&D / E.  The differences are so minor, fitting the early StuG into a single box should be an easy task (except for unaccountable surprises).

;)

This all sounds wise.  Will look forward to it when the time is right.

Apologies if this has been suggested before.  I don't really frequent this forum - I just check in periodically - so please forgive any interruption.

Any plans for doing early versions of the StuG?

Hi,

just catching up on this.  I went looking for the Panzer IV kit and found it has been retired.  I'm glad to see these updates coming along.

I scanned through this thread and didn't see either of these asked, but I may have missed it.

Do you have a target release date for the early Panzer IVs?

Do you plan to do a version of the later Panzer IVs with zimmerit?

thanks,

Wish Lists / Re: Soivet Armour

I love the Soviet armor that is coming out.  I'm psyched about the SU-122.

I don't suppose there is any chance to do a revised design on the tracks on the T-34, or a version of the tracks, that show the waffle pattern that was so common on Soviet armor?

And I'm wondering if you'd consider a Soviet stowage set that included a spare T-34 transmission?  I've seen a few photographs of T-34s with a spare transmission strapped on back.

Or, with the bedspring side armor that some vehicles used in hopes of diminishing the effects of panzerfaust?

Hi,

do you think this will be available by the end of this year?

I love the base vehicle and the mod sprues.  Great idea!

Wish Lists / Steyr 1500?
« on: July 12, 2015, 01:50:26 am »

Have you ever thought about doing a Steyr 1500?  It was a widely used transport in the wehrmacht and I don't think anyone makes it in this scale.

I appreciate that difficulty.  I was hoping for something more realistic on the surface that you can mold - at least interlocking links of track, at best the waffle pattern.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

That's a shame - my credit card is poised and ready to take a beating...
Did you change the box art for the SdKfz 251 3-in-1 kit?  There's a version of the /7 on your Facebook page which looks much better - correct colours and more detail.
We are continually upgrading our existing products (decals, sprues, box arts), not just new releases... a commitment to our customers!
Once our stock run out, we will replace them with new upgraded batch if needed.

;)

That's awesome!  I don't suppose you would consider an upgrade to the T34 tracks?  I think it should be possible to get something that looks more realistic.  I love the kit overall, but the tracks leave me somewhat flat.

So should the German stowage kit and decal sets be available at local retailers now?
