The 260/261 upgrade pack says it is a pewter blister pack (top left), cut and paste?

I cannot wait for the 222.
I am trying to work out what the middle running British infantryman has in his hands.
-
Sign me up for some 222's!
-
Looks like the right hand is holding the rifle at the top and the left hand is clenched in a fist as he runs.
-
We have updated the German blister releases with THREE more plastic items...

I'll definitely give the German tank crew a try!
-
I just had a look at the indantry. Do they come in blisters of 3 miniatures?
For us that are wargamers it would be nice to be able to do full squads.
For the Germans there are now 6 miniatures that are suitable for a squad.
I cant see any machine guns for squad use. Neither for squad leaders.

Q2/18
I have been looking forward to this kit!
I'm going to take a guess here and say that the 20mm turret will be the same as the 20mm that comes with the sdkfz 250 conversion kit?
In regards to the infantry. Will there be other figures? I noticed that there is no squad MG for the Germans, all the Soviets are carrying PPSh, no BARs for the Americans, no SMGs for the Americans or British, and so on.

This is basically our first batch of combat-style figures for all nations. Additional poses and weapons will be added as we move forward, so please don't worry.
;)

... no SMGs for the Americans or British, and so on.
There is a Sten gunner in the British patrolling set.
On a similar note, a Bren gun crew would be useful in the next batch.

Is that the components of the 284041 Panzer crew? Please can we have a similar view of the bits for the 284042 half track gunner set? I am hoping to mix them for my Waffentrager.
By the way, what period are the uniforms?
-
By the way, what period are the uniforms?
My two cents: the German infantry are in early war uniforms. Probably suitable for 1939-1941 ish. They look like they are wearing the M36/M40 Tunic (only difference was fabric colors for collars and shoulder straps) or the M41 tunic (which went from 5 buttons to 6). But those pockets appear to be pleated, and that was phased out in the M42 tunic.
Yes, those appear to be Jackboots, which were issued to combat troops through 1941. They were slowly replaced with ankle boots and gaiters starting in 1941 for new units. But existing units kept their old boots until they wore out. And production didn't completely stop until 1943. So the boots alone are not enough of an indicator for the period of the uniforms.
I will be interested to hear what Rubicon have to say!
-
EWG, if Rubicon plan on uniforms compatible with the early period, although valid later, we shouldn't divert them. This is a good thing isn't it.
-
I was tickled to see the Jackboots! That is a classic sign the troops are "early war" and quite possibly very early! Just how early depends on other factors. If you can see the tunic details, and the pockets have scalloped flaps and pleats, you should be good through 1941. Still have scalloped pocket flaps, but the pleats are gone? You are good for 1942. Scalloped pocket flaps are gone? Now you are likely in 1943.
In photos, helmets are not much use in determining the period. Those national colors and eagle shield decals on the sides were present from the start, and initially the helmets were painted a semi-gloss color, but starting in late March 1940 the national colors shield was discontinued on army helmets. And the helmets were to be painted a matte color rather than semi-gloss. This did NOT mean that every helmet had that decal painted over before April of that year. So if you want your troops to have the double-decal for France 1940, you are fine. The factory stopped applying the decals, and the old decals were to be scrapped off or painted over. But not every soldier complied. You can easily find photos in mid and late war of German soldiers with national decals still on their helmets.
The Luftwaffe received a similar order in June 1940 regarding the national shield decal. The SS received their orders to remove or paint over the national shield from their helmets in August 1940.
In August 1943 the eagle shield was discontinued. Yet again, you can find photos of late war troops with eagle decals still on their helmets.

Any word on the plastic Panzer crew figures . I really need them .....

Are there LW license plates on the German decal sheet?
-
Both the Opel Blitz truck and the 251 D half track have WL license plates on the decal sheets . The single decal sheets are just Panzer Divisions and tank turret number sets . I have a half track decal set I don't need , so PM me and I'll mail it to you

Is getting close now, should be the end of the month if all the back-office connections are completed.

Great news! Thanks! :)

Hmmm. Neither Arcane Scenery and Models nor Great Escape Games seem to have these new Rubicon kits, and both appear to now only carry a partial selection of the wider catalogue.
Until the advent of your UK/European webstore, could you suggest a list of UK stockists with comprehensive stock, including the new releases?
-
Both PSC and NS had placed their orders and should be in stock next week. They will fulfil all backorders and any new orders with their channels. Meanwhile, our UK/EU webstore will be launching soon... watch out for an announcement anytime!

Hmm. What are the interior measurements of the back bed of the GAZ?
The bed of Minairons Chevy 30cwt is under-sized and I'm looking at kitbashing corrections. Parts from 1 or 2 GAZes might do the trick.

No plastic Panzer crews yet ?

What is more important, all our current resin and pewter items are “Direct Sales Only” (DSO) and is only available through our own webstores because of the limited production nature of these products.
