The  bolts were prominent on the Panzer III  L and M  mounting the 50mm gun that had the added spaced armour . It was removed on the 75mm gunned N as weight saving measure . ( Encyclopedia Of German Tanks -Chamberlain , Doyle & Jentz ).  An easy fix as Meng has sheets of plastic bolts and rivets , a great help to the scratch buidler ,   add the missing parts yourself   :)

Hi my names Jim . I've been building model tanks since the early 1970s . First Airfix , then Bandai and Aurora , then on to 1/35 Tamiya . After many years of marriage and kids  I came back to 1/35 scale tanks , and now have about 45 built . I got in to building 1/56 tanks after the local hobby shop started to bring in Bolt Action plastic kits , and I've picked up half a dozen . I don't play the game though , the fun part is building and converting the tank kit . Opening up hatches , casting spare track and adding crew figures and stowage, stuff like that . Now if I could just find the right pieces in the spares box , I'm going to start adding internal details , engines , crew seats and gun breaches ' Can't wait for Rubicon's kits to hit the market place

A Stug III G would be an great  kit to produce . Options could include Schutzen side skirts  , the bolted or the so called Pig's Head cast mantlet and a choice of the 75 mm gun or the 105 mm howitzer , as both types of gun were mounted in both mantlets. . And if you want to get real  rivet counter   ::) , both versions of the loader hatch , opening front and rear or side to side , the roof mounted close - defence weapon and the remote control machine gun mount

The combo kit of the Churchill III / IV might be an good idea . True you would need 2 turrets , a square welded turret for the III and a cast turret for the IV version . But the body styles were the same . Gun options of 6 pounder , 95mm howitzer or the so called NA 75 ( the Sherman 75 mm gun in the welded IV turret ) , would give variety with few parts to exchange . Also if the IV turret and extra guns were on one sprue it could be replaced by an AVRE detail sprue for a D Day Churchill III  "  funny . " Another idea for a   Churchill kit would be  the mark VII ( round side escape hatches } which could include the Crocodile flame thrower gun and trailer .
